The year was 1873. The streets of Brisbane were not much more than dirt tracks. Buildings had hitching rails and horse troughs out front. And an industrious bloke called Samuel Smith opened his shop in Adelaide Street selling top quality rubber stamps.  As they say, the rest is history.

Samuel could never have imagined that his small, one roomed business would evolve into Australia’s largest corporate signage manufacturer. But that’s exactly what the Albert Smith Group has become. From those humble beginnings, our company’s remarkable growth can be attributed to several reasons. Long before quality systems and procedures became fashionable, we were raising the bar to ensure manufacturing standards were the highest possible. In fact, the Albert Smith Group pioneered many of the standards and technologies used in the sign industry today.

As our company’s reputation grew and demand for its products increased we spread our wings and started exporting to Asia and the South Pacific. Now, we can proudly boast manufacturing facilities in eight countries around the world including China, Taiwan, the Philippines, New Zealand, Indonesia & India.
