Albert Smith Australia

Our facility is strategically positioned adjacent to both international air and sea shipping terminals to ensure export efficiency whilst also being adjacent to the north / south highway routes to assist with local transportation logistics. With over 8000 square metres of under-cover manufacturing space plus ample internal and external storage availability, the group's head office offers sign design and manufacturing functionality that is unparalleled in this industry.

Australia is the home of Albert Smith Group's Head Office.

Albert Smith & Son was founded in 1875 as a rubber stamp manufacturer.
By 1959 the first 'illuminated sign' was manufactured.
1968 saw the opening of a new head office and manufacturing facility of 600 square metres.
Albert Smith Signs pioneered the first plastics vacuum forming machine in 1973.
By 1979 the company outgrew their facilities and moved to 2500 square metres in Dutton Park, Brisbane and Rodney Smith became 4th generation Managing Director (after his father Keith). 1982 expanded the operation via opening of the Sydney office and manufacturing facility. Again, the company moved to even larger facilities (6000 square metres) to it's present address - Bulimba, Brisbane.

Today, apart from being the most advanced sign manufacturing facility in the Asia Pacific region, it is also:

the headquarters for the Albert Smith Group globally

the group's quality assurance facilitator
the research and design centre for much of the Group's regional activities
the group's occupational health and safety training centre
